Shipping Policy

Here are a few things you should know about our shipping policy:


For starters, all dispatched products are packed inside a special insulated bag, packed with ice gel packs. The Chocolates dispatched are frozen, to capture the freshness of the products. Please defrost the chocolates in the refrigerator for 4 hours before consumption.

After the order is prepared for shipping, it is sent to the recipient's address using an expedited method to ensure it arrives as quickly (and fresh) as possible and as per the delivery date and time slot chosen by you.

It’s important to remember that our products are perishable and require refrigeration. For this reason, we aim to fulfil the delivery as per the time slot and date chosen by you at the time of your purchase. Given the sensitivity of the product our shipping partner will not be able to make a second attempt for delivery.

Once the package is received by the recipient, the products need to be carefully taken out of the insulated bag, separated from the ice gel packs and refrigerated immediately.

Burgundy Hospitality Pvt Ltd. is not responsible for packages that have been delivered but not received, and for packages that have been received but not opened in a timely manner. 


Our gift boxes with assorted chocolates will not be packed in an insulated bag, however, it would still have ice gel packs on the outside or inside the box. Upon receipt, the ice gel packs will need to be separated from the box.

Please note that the chocolates packed inside the gift box will not be frozen and would be ready for consumption upon receipt.

Our gift boxes need to be stored at a temperature of 23 degree Celsius or below – it can either be refrigerated or even stored in a temperature controlled air conditioned room. 

  1. SHIPPING works with a third party organization BOMBAX COURIER LL
P, for deliveries of online orders. Therefore, we are not responsible for packages that are delayed or have been lost in transit. Tracking information will be sent by the courier company, as soon as the shipping label is created after order purchase.

Due to the nature of our products, the delivery is restricted only to few cities in India – Please also note that the delivery within these cities is extended to limited pin-codes.

We recommend that before the order is placed, the customer checks the scope of delivery by entering the pincode in the provided tab on each product page. To enquire about the complete list of pin-codes serviceable through our website, please reach us at

We only ship to residential and business addresses. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes addresses in India.

Orders placed for Same Day Delivery after 9 AM - are allotted for 2nd slot pickup at 3PM, wherein the orders are delivered between 4 to 9 PM.

Same day delivery orders are dispatched through our PIDGE Delivery partner network.


All of confections are perishable, therefore, all purchases will be final and non-refundable. is not liable for incorrect order information provided by the customer.

Lost or stolen packages that have been confirmed delivered to the recipient's address by the third party delivery partner, Bombax Courier LLP, cannot be refunded nor exchanged.

Order cancellations or modifications such as change of delivery address or order quantity requires a notification lead time of 24 hours before the chosen delivery date.

Due to the high amount of orders placed over holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Rakhi, Diwali and Christmas Season, we will automatically stop accepting orders for a given delivery date depending on the volume.  We only want to provide excellent customer service and ensure timely delivery without delays. We strongly recommend that you place your orders online ahead of time to ensure timely delivery of the package during the busy holiday season. 

  1. DELIVERY PARTNER APPS/SERVICES is not responsible for items that are not delivered or orders not received or any other grievances regarding the order that were purchased through third party delivery apps and services like Scootsy, Swiggy, Zomato and UberEats.
